Class Options For Ages 5-12 years

Grasshopper Class

The Grasshoppers Martial Arts Program is designed for children ages 5 to 7 years old. The main goals of this special program include concentrating on gross motor skills, increasing focus and concentration and improving balance. The instructor / student ratio is kept small to help these young ones develop into strong individuals. Children are taught the first basics of martial arts at a pace appropriate for their age. Basic kicking, punching and blocking techniques are also taught at an age-appropriate level, along with the important lessons of self-control and respect for others. Classes are structured so our Grasshoppers learn while having fun.

Children's Class

Our Children's Martial Arts Program is for students ages 8 to 12. Martial Arts training builds self-confidence and teaches discipline, self-discipline, and respect for oneself and others, and main goal of the Children's Program is to help them develop a sense of pride and accomplishment as they progress in their training. Children learn the valuable life lessons of making commitments to training and attaining short and long-term goals.  Martial arts is truly a unique and personal experience for every individual - children especially. They take ownership. This program becomes theirs! Exercising while having fun develops healthy lifetime habits.
